Sexual Intimacy – a series

09 Jun

I ran across a friend’s blog this week and discovered she and her hubby were doing a series on sexual intimacy. Of course, I was curious. =) I thought you might be interested, too. Here are the links to each post, as well as a quote from each – just to whet your appetite.

Never Give Up: “Life is just one busy season after another and the chaos never seems to end, it just looks a little different than the last one.” (This one is by my pastor and former boss – we love you, Danny!)

Sexual Stewardship: “A steward never puts his own desires above the care of what has been entrusted to him…”

Better Sex? Do You Want That?: “Sex is such a vital aspect of marriage, so when it is not nurtured, the fall-out can cause unfathomable damage.”

The Lazy Lover Syndrome: “We had allowed circumstances to run roughshod over our priorities, to drain our energy and to divert our attention from one another.”

Marriage Intimacy On The Menu: “Would you prefer a bedroom menu to be full of variety or do you feel warm and comfy with more of the same? Understanding how this is impacting you and your spouse can give you great insights and encouragement in the bedroom.”

Enjoy! =)

What the hey, I decided I may as well enter a comment under the sex post. Since I’ve left copious other comments in other areas. Hadn’t heard of the Triplet Mom’s fb group, would love a link! Oh, and in regards to sex, it might be tmi, but I don’t know about you, but in this busy season, and severe sleep deprivation, bedroom appointments are infrequent, and b’feeding messes with my libido… But the benefits of having 2 previous children is that I know once they are weaned, all will return to normal… Now that is something I would think could be helpful to discuss on a blog post, but you know, too many people from church – and my mother – read my blog. Sometimes I wish I could have a Multiple Mum access only!
